Trip Around the World

I like to make my Trip Around the World quilts as a colorwash. This one is one of the best I did. On each one I tried to have the very smoothest blend possible. The biggest challenge was working with only what was available in a store on the day I was choosing it. I would rather work out of my large stash of floral fabrics which has been collected over 20 years. On my walk a couple days ago I saw this little planting of sedum at a street corner. I loved the way the pink flowers matched the pink brick.
Another picture of my porch pots. One of my friends bought more plants that she could use and was kind enough to share them with me this spring.
