Here are a couple students' quilts from the finishing class. I showed this one partially sewn a month ago from the last class and she sewed the border on today. Her son loves orange so I'm sure he'll be happy with this one.
Here is another student's work, Disappearing 9-patch and Bento Box quilts. She got all of her Bento Box squares done and layout planned. We also figured out her batting requirements and a piecing diagram for one of the quilt backs.
I was really tired last night so while I watched the DVD "The Proposal" I played with the squares in this little box.
Think value when designing one of these. Even if I didn't group the colors it still would work if the values are in the right place.
I'm not going to sew it together. I just picked up all of the squares and put them back in the box.
