Last night I finished sewing the last 2 rows together and got them added on to the 4 rows that were already sewn together. I don't think a border would add anything to this piece and I think the binding might be more than one fabric. I know some people call this shape lava lamp but to me it looks like dumbbells. Even though this one has bright colors I think it is a soothing, mesmerizing design. It is 42" square (per question in the first comment today).
I have to work at the store today because they are short handed. It keeps me on my toes handling the computerized checkout (and check in of repairs). I will take the embroidery quilt I am working on for them in case I have some time and see if I can make a little progress on it.
Two of the art quilters brought me some cannas which I am going to put in pots with some other plants. More shopping for plants, more fun.
