As I clean the basement for my art quilters' group meeting next Monday I have run across some boxes of pieces and parts. One box is full of 4 patches and plain squares of Kaffe Fassett fabric and batik fabric. This is my design wall when I was playing with the pieces a year ago. It is an idea from a Kaffe book, not exactly like his. I need to get this out and play again.
And.....from July 2006 I was playing with these strip sets trying for a feeling of a forest scene. I took this picture and then took the pieces off the wall. I think I need to work on this too.
I am in a slump right now. I don't have a burning idea that gets me up every morning. A couple of my friends said I have overstimulation because I have so many projects started and no clear direction of what to work on. However that is the way I have worked for years and I do get some things finished. For the weekend though I have to just keep straightening up and cleaning the basement. I hope to finish that Star Trip binding tonight.
