I
have three pieces of wall art that I am offering at bargain prices.
You should be able to click on the photo to enlarge it.
Upper
left, an original design quilt based on the number three and some other
criteria that I have forgotten. It was made in a workshop. It is raw
edge applique finished with a narrow satin stitch, sparkly thread, 3
coins attached. It is 21.5" x 22" a hanging sleeve and hand finished
binding and is machine quilted.
Bottom
left: Colorwash heart, 16.5" square, free motion quilted in the shape
of a heart and has a hanging sleeve.
Right:
Batik zig zag wallhanging. Includes a hanging sleeve and is machine
quilted in randomly spaced lines following the zig zag. It has been
washed for that old fashioned crinkly look. It is 41" x 34".
Batik
colorwash, 50.5" x 38.5". It is machine quilted with a medium size
meander in thread colors that match the different areas. It has a
hanging sleeve, label and a hand finished binding. SOLD 10/2016
24"
x 24" colorwash - batik fabrics. It has a hanging sleeve to use a rod
or slat to hang it. The binding is hand finished on the back. It is
ditch quilted on the vertical seams.
Spring
Inspiration, 23.5" x 33.75", is inspired by the Redbud and Crabapple
trees in bloom in the spring. It is made of all batik fabrics, is
machine quilted, has a hanging sleeve for a rod and a label.
Approximately 27.25" x 27.5", regular quilting cotton fabric, it is ditch quilted in
both directions. The binding is a dark purple print. It has a hanging
sleeve for a rod or flat wood piece to hang it.
This
small piece made of batik fabric is 17.5" x 13.5". It is machine
quilted and has a hanging sleeve for a rod and has a hand finished
binding. The leaves are real leaves, scanned and printed on fabric.
This colorwash wallhanging which has a large variety of fabrics
was designed one piece at a time on a design wall. This piece is
23.75" x 24". It is quilted and has a traditional binding and a hanging
sleeve.
This piece is
9.5" x 12" and is created one little piece at a time in a colorwash
style. All of the pieces have loose edges partially held down by the
machine quilting. It is very lightweight and doesn't have a rod pocket
or hanger. I have hung one from a tiny safety pin at the center top
edge and a wire brad nail in the wall.
this piece is 31" x 24.75" and is made from all
of the leftover bits from another larger quilt. I had fun fitting them
altogether with a piece of Dutch Wax Batik with a bird on it as a focal
point.I machine quilted it
in the ditch and then added double needle quilting as an accent. This is the backing fabric and it shows what
the double needle stitching looks like on the back (zigzag). The binding is hand
finished.
