I had a busy day yesterday, hair cut, grocery shopping and a long lunch with a friend. I couldn't make a decision on the border of the medallion quilt so I cut triangles. I mentioned when I made the other Marcia Derse quilt top that I had some more intense colors of her fabric .
I rearranged some for this photo making larger triangles out of 4 triangles with either color or value matching. I have used 2 of each fabric in these 2 layouts and I cut 6 of each. I wanted to put them up on the wall and study the colors together to decide if I want to limit it to certain colors or let it be very multicolor.
I will try to make the decision on the medallion quilt today so I can continue and make the next border.
Today my first born child turns 55. He was the first grandchild on my side of the family. My dad had so much fun showing him around the farm and taking him for tractor rides.
