Yesterday two friends came over to sew and I decided to skip a day on my paper piecing project and finish this one that I last worked on in January. I started it in July 2012 and it stayed on the design wall for months. I cut 48 more dotted triangles with the die cutter and decided that when I ran out of them I was done. I sewed it together into lefts and rights before I went to the design wall. I 
Last night I got the pieces up on the design wall. I didn't see anything I wanted to change so I took it down in rows ready to sew together sometime soon. I got bored with this one with the consistent fabric sewn to a Kaffe. I guess I like the element of surprise when there are lots of different fabrics and I don't know what it will look like. This one was too predictable. I do like it though so I'm glad I made it.
Of course one of the exciting parts is the 252 leftover triangles, seeds for another unknown project.
