I decided to play with the 2 small wonky blocks, now officially Wonky 4 and 5. This one is Wonky 4. At the top right is the block as I made it at the end of June. Yesterday I added some old strip piecing that has been on my design wall for a long time as a first border. Then I continued adding strips around it. I see that Collage maker has cut off some of the strips at the top and bottom in the left photo. I'll show the whole photo some other day.
Above is Wonky 5, as I pieced it in June on the left and with strips that I added yesterday on the right.
When I looked outside on the evening of July 3, the tiger lilies were just a bunch of buds. Then on cue, they opened up on the morning of July 4, just like a bunch of firecrackers.
