The fun part is choosing the fabrics, piecing blocks and putting them on the design wall not knowing what I am making but knowing the quilt will reveal itself in the playtime. The unfun part is cutting the binding and hanging sleeve and attaching them, designing the label, loading the next quilt on the longarm. I spent the afternoon driving to church sewing circle, sewing for 2 hours and driving home, 3 1/2 hours in all. Then I picked up branches in the backyard, cleaned the grill on the dryer vent, and filled the bird feeders. I really wanted to have some fun then, making mindless creative blocks, but I knew I had to do the unfun parts instead.The unfun part.......
