I had partial quilts on almost every design wall in the basement. I didn't feel like sewing diamonds yesterday so I started sewing the log cabin top together. We had severe thunderstorm warnings last night so I had to quit and unplug the machine. Tomorrow is our Quilts of Valor sew in at the quilt shop in Batavia, IL so I was going through all of the pieces that were sewn at the last meeting to prepare kits for tomorrow.
A friend dropped off a QOV quilt which she is donating on Saturday. She had a surprise for me too, a begonia she started from her plant. I love all of my plants and this one is especially pretty with its colorful leaves.
