I did more wandering around and looking at things than anything else yesterday. I was looking for something in my basement and ran across these containers with 1.5" and 2.5" strips of flannel fabrics. Some are regular flannels and others are the brushed Moda's. One year for Christmas I gave 10 flannel quilts to family members for Christmas. I have also given a friend a plaid flannel baby quilt, a great nephew and his wife a flannel couch quilt, and last night a sister in law a flannel quilt to match her new living room. I have enough flannel stash for another 10 quilts, most of purchased at sales. I haven't started a flannel quilt for a couple years so I think this is the year to do it again. A couple of them will be 6.5" squares with lots of variety of plaids and stripes.Slow down Sunday..........
