I brought 2 design walls up from the basement and placed them in my living room opposite my large east facing picture window. On a few sunny days in the last week I have taken new photos of a bunch of my quilts. When I photograph in the basement, there isn't any light at the bottom of the quilt and not much on the right edge so I always had dark areas. This is the best picture I have taken so far of the H quilt top.
I have created a new 'page' (top right on my blog page) for Colorwash quilts. I added a few more pictures to it last night.
The orange cactus bud has opened! I'm still hoping for another bud this spring.
The area where the periwinkle vinca grows has lots of thistles in it. Even though I never let them get to the blooming stage, there are still lots more there every year. I think our rain is done for a couple days so maybe I can get some pulled out of there. I also have a few dandelions to pull. They should come out easy since it we had rain several days in a row.
