Kaffe triangle quilt

This is where I am on the triangle quilt.  I have the blocks in the first 4 rows sewn together.  I wonder if I might want the dark in the center instead of light.  All I have to do is turn each block 1/2 turn and the center will be dark.  I may try that when all of the blocks are sewn.

I put my machine up on my cutting table so I could stand and sew since I need to be walking back and forth between the machine, design wall, and ironing board with each 2 triangles I take down.

 I take 2 triangles down, go the the machine and sew them, walk back and take the next 2 triangles down, etc.

 I am chain piecing them.

Then I pile them in order on the machine table until I have all of the blocks in the row sewn, then take them one at a time to the ironing board and then straight over to the design wall.

I started sewing the blocks before I went to teach my class and did the rest while I watched the Olympics in the evening.  Class went well but nobody had any blocks done to take pictures of.  We meet again next Thurs. so I'll take pictures then.
