It's December already. Does that seem possible? Isn't it ironic that I will finish my summer quilt in the winter? I have one section of 15 strips sewn and one section of 10 strips sewn together. I have 7 more rows designed and ready to sew. I need to design about 7 more rows and it will be big enough. This is the quilt that I had to complete some sewing on before my art quilters came so the design walls would be empty for them. The right side looks darker only because I didn't have enough lights on at that end. It really is all pastel.
The cookies were a big hit and the chocolate chips were the favorite. I always use one full bag of regular chips and then a third of a bag of the mini chips. That way the cookies all have lots of chocolate.

I have been called into work for a couple hours this morning and then I have to take my dad to lunch and then to the eye Dr. office for his new lens for his glasses. They are just replacing one lens and I hope he adjusts to it better than the last time. There is snow predicted for Wed. night into Thurs. morning and I don't want to have to make a trip back there in bad weather.
