The guy who is doing the scanning for the Historical Society just sent me a link to the society's site and I downloaded a few of the pictures. Here is the very first school I went to, first and second grade. It was 1/4 mile from our house and my older brother and I walked to school every day. I had perfect attendance both years.

This school closed in May, 1949 for lack of students. All that were left were my 2 brothers and I and 2 neighbor boys.
