This is what a cutting table should look like.......
Nice and clean, ready to cut. All that is left on there is the selvage from the fabric I cut for my 89 year old friend. My table rarely looks like this.
It only took me a few hours to have piles all over it again. I want to make a yellow quilt so I pulled the yellow/orange stacks off the shelves and looked through them.
I can't decide what pattern I want to make so I just played with groups that looked good together.
Probably some of these will go with the sunflower stack I showed yesterday.
Of course I had to do a value run. I work that way in so many quilts. These pieces would work in a strip pieced Kaleidoscope or a 6 rail fence.
Then I stacked them neatly back on the shelves and I have a clean table again.
