This is bunches of asters that I left standing in th front garden. They look like mushrooms now. I shoveled the sidewalk and porch 3 times. The snow was blowing off the roof too so I don't know if the 3-4" I shoveled the last time was from snow fall or drifting. It finally stopped around 4 p.m. I walked around to the back yard to fill the bird feeders and we have about 7-8" back there. More snow coming Monday night and Wednesday.
I switched gears again. I told you I have a short attention span. I sewed the binding on this one that I quilted last Saturday. Someday I am going to learn how to pin it up straight on the design wall.
I didn't have quite enough of the same fabric as the first border to use as binding so I used another print by the same company the same year. It is just a little lighter but looks good.
I folded it so you can see what I put on the back of the quilt. I got both of these fabrics on sale and didn't have enough of either so I pieced them together in random width panels.
I'm looking forward to a day without shoveling. I hope it happens.
