Triangles, lots of triangles

I love triangles and sometimes I have patience with them and sometimes not. I started a series of the Lady of the Lake quilts but am stuck after 2. This one "Lady of the Garden" from a Jean Wells book was started with a class I taught. I didn't make it as big as the one in the book because I just didn't want to make any more blocks. Here is a close up of some of the floral and green fabrics used.
This fall colored one is actually the one I started with. I liked it so well that I decided to do one for each season, and hopefully I would find a place in my house to have them hanging and change them with the seasons. I made all of the blocks and found the border fabric afterwards.
More closeups of fabrics used.
I love this area in the quilt.
I am into day 2 of working 3 days at the sewing machine store in town while they have their booth at a sewing expo. Yesterday was a long one working all day and teaching at night. I really slept well last night! Our temperature went down to 34 by morning and my son said they had a brief rain/sleet event this morning 4 miles from where I live. I guess winter is coming whether we want it or not.
